My collage process: I have the base papers cut to 41/2" X 6". I have a big bowl full of scrap papers, magazine pictures, quotes, and other ephemera. Sometimes I start with a big picture or a background paper and then just add using either a theme or just coordinating colors. Sometimes I add jewels, ribbons, or buttons.
